As VP and Principal Analyst, Madeline Laurano is responsible for leading and collaborating on Brandon Hall Group’s research coverage across a range of HCM topics, including learning and development, talent acquisition, HCM technology, talent management, contingent workforce management, and employee engagement.

Before joining Brandon Hall Group, Madeline was the Research Director of Aberdeen’s Human Capital Management practice, where she was responsible for delivering research findings and best practices via published works, consulting engagements, industry conferences, webinars, and Aberdeen’s annual summit. Madeline also served as Principal Analyst for The Newman Group, driving the company’s success in the area of Talent Management Technology and Learning Management Technology Evaluation and Selection. Madeline joined The Newman Group from Bersin & Associates, where she served as Principal Analyst of Talent Acquisition including employer branding, sourcing, screening, assessments, hiring and onboarding. Prior to joining Bersin, Madeline served as the Research Director for ERE Media where she created the ERE webinar series, published the Talent Acquisition Industry Analysis and Buyers Guide, lead the community discussion groups, and conducted various research products and services. She also worked as Research Director for Linkage, Inc, where she co-authored Best Practices in Leading a Global Workforce and Secrets in Succession Planning. Madeline has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe, Yahoo News, and The Financial Times. She has also presented at various industry conferences including the HR Technology Conference and Exposition, SHRM, IHRIM, HCI's Strategic Talent Acquisition conference, GDS International’s HCM Summit, and HRO Today.

Madeline has a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in International Relations from Boston University.
